Markdown Bold Not Applying to Korean Text - Android

The Markdown bold feature in Simplenote does not apply to Korean text. Bold formatting no longer renders correctly for Korean characters. This was reported in https://forums.simplenote.com/forums/topic/rich-font-doesnt-work-on-korean/?view=all#post-5213

### Expected
The Korean text should be displayed in bold.

### Observed
The Korean text does not appear in bold. The Markdown formatting is visible in Edit tab, but the text itself is not styled as bold in the Preview tab.

### Reproduced

1. Open the Simplenote app on an Android device.
2. Create a new note or edit an existing one.
3. Type some Korean text.
4. Apply bold formatting to the Korean text using Markdown (e.g., using asterisks: **Korean Text**).

Reproduce the issue in the Android app using Korean text wrapped in Markdown bold, then compare the Edit and Preview tabs. Trace the Preview tab's Markdown rendering behavior for Korean characters; done means the same text visibly renders in bold while other Markdown behavior remains intact.
