Widget stuck in `loading note` on restart

1. Add note widgets to homescreen
2. Restart your device
3. Notes will show "loading note"
4. Open app, then open note
5. Content now shows on the homescreen

It would be expected that it would show without having to open the note first.

I can't reproduce on Pixel 6, Android 14

Simplenote never asked me for permissions while installing, but I manually granted permission to auto start and also disabled the option to “pause app if unused” and the battery saver.
