Description
A user reported when entering something in a note (regardless of whether the device is connected to the internet), there is a chance that such information would not be saved.
However, it turned out later that the note was reverted to one of their past revisions (but definitely not the immediately preceding version).
After the note is restored to the most updated version (usually the second last version because the latest version would be a replica of the "back" version), it does not flip back.
This happens both when the note is left open and after returning to the note list before exit to the home screen.
It has happened with only one single note but this is the only note that the user would make multiple revisions to daily. And this was the note that the user had syncing issues with back when they used Simplenote both on Mac and Android phone.
User has also ever made an email address change in their account.
Full details of the account and their explanation is on 3119557-zen
Also, at first, I thought this is similar to issue #992
However, in this case, the user's changes are actually saved, it's just that they always get reverted to any past versions.
### Expected
The note would always display the latest version when opened.
### Observed
The note jumped to a random past version instead. The latest version would be on the second last version, in which it can still be restored.
### Reproduced
> 1. Edit a note
> 2. Close the note
> 3. Open the note and the latest changes are not shown
> 4. The changes would be on the second latest version and can be restored

Research direction
Start by reproducing the listed edit, close, and reopen steps on the reported Android configuration, then compare the displayed note with its revision history. Investigate the note-opening, note-list, and sync behavior described in the report; done means reopening consistently displays the latest saved version rather than an older revision.
