Open Podcast API-based synchronisation

Pocket casts is now (one of) the good open source podcast app(s) for iOS. There are potential users out there, who would like Cross-App synchronisation. An example: https://troet.cafe/@christophtill/110739152323728733

This person wants to sync their subscriptions & listening progress between their work phone (iOS) and private phone (Android).

I've initiated the Open Podcast API, which aims to enable exactly that: easy, cross-device and cross-app synchronisation. Discussions about the API endpoints and calls are currently ongoing. It would be interesting if someone from Pocket Cast's team would be able to engage in these discussions and perhaps, ons the specs are ready, implement support for it. Happy to have a one-on-one chat about this also.
