### Description

Pixel Buds Series A
Android Pocketcast Version 7.80 (9303)
When I turn on Gemini, I encounter the following problem with pocketcast.
I double tap the right earbud to fast forward, pocketcast used to skip forward, and resume playing.
Now, when I double tap, it does skip forward, but does not resume playing. A single tap will resume playing.
Tried with Sony link buds S and this bug does not occur.
When I turn off Gemini in favor of Google Assistant, the bug goes away.

This would be similar to the problem reported in #3292, except in this case, the single tap works, in that case, the single tap wouldn’t.

Note: In a pocketcast forum post about #3292, several other people have also reported this occurring, but in their examples they cite it is with the pixel buds pro.

(although I don't know if they had Gemini turned on or off)

### Step-by-step reproduction instructions

1 Turn on Gemini
2 begin playing a podcast
3 use a pair of pixel buds Series A
4 double tap the right earbud
5 expected result: podcast goes forward 30 seconds and starts playing from that point
actual result: podcast goes forward 30 seconds and stops playing. A single tap will start it playing again.

Research direction

The issue names no source files, tests, or entry points. First reproduce the Pixel Buds Series A sequence with Gemini enabled on Android 15, comparing double-tap fast-forward behavior with Google Assistant and Sony LinkBuds S. Done means double-tap advances 30 seconds and resumes playback without requiring a single tap.
