Description

### Description

We've had a report that the skipping functionality is not working on Galaxy Watch 7, which uses WearOS 5.0. AntennaPod seems to work, but has given a similar issue to the user once.

The buttons animate as usual, but don't actually skip.

### Step-by-step reproduction instructions

We could not replicate it on Watch 6, but that uses WearOS 4.0

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. First reproduce the skip-forward and skip-back behavior on a Galaxy Watch 7 running WearOS 5.0, then compare it with the reported working behavior on Watch 6/WearOS 4.0. Done means both buttons perform the expected skip rather than only animating.
