App doesn't show episodes if internet connection is bad

### Description

I'm currently in an AirBnB with bad wifi and the app is almost unusable because it fails to sometimes load episodes, or even the list of subscriptions. Just now it couldn't load the settings. The issue goes away instantly if I turn off wifi (see video).
