Audio crackling when listening with high playback speed

We've had a couple of user reports of audio crackling when listening with high playback speed.

This listener is using Pixel 6. @reginabally could reproduce this on Pixel 4 Android 12.

In May 2022, another user reported something that might be similar since it involves static and skips in the audio:

> Recently, maybe the last month or two, I've had the notification + playback seemingly get disconnected. Playback gets static-y/skips. And I have to pause and kill the app to recover.

Start by reproducing the reported crackling on Android at 2.3x playback, using the Pixel 6 or Pixel 4 with Android 12 details provided. Compare playback at 1.5x and higher speeds, and investigate the playback path after reproducing the issue. Done means high-speed playback is free of crackling, static, and skips.
