Description

Internal reference p1HpG7-l0G-p2

> I think all the form child blocks should be connected semantically so you can easily transform and change their “type”. I imagine the switching to be similar to how we do block variation type switching, which is exposed prominently in the sidebar. It should be easy to switch a “date” field to an “email” field, and so on, in both transforms and the sidebar.

Research direction

Start by locating the core forms blocks and the existing block variation type-switching behavior. Compare how transforms and the sidebar expose switching, then define the semantic connections and confirm that date, email, and other child blocks can change type through both paths.
