Description
It's strange we're mixing the AI response with actual content.
I would expect that there would be a clear distinction between the two, and if I want to either replace the content, or add below/after, then I can do so — or discard everything and start over. It makes it unclear if I'm working with the AI, or I'm editing my content with the AI.
Like the screenshot below for example. I obviously wouldn't "accept" that response to be inserted into my content, and my actual content has been overwritten by the response. I need to be able to see my content, as well as the AI responses. I would expect a modal or popover to interact with the AI, with the option to replace/add/discard, instead of this current method of all or nothing.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points; start by locating the AI response UI shown in the screenshots and tracing its current content-editing flow. Done means the original content remains visible and users can explicitly replace, append, or discard the response without an all-or-nothing overwrite.
