Description

Jetpack Social - AI Features

**Provide a short description:**
The strength of current AI endpoints lies in recognizing topics and summarising text input. These strengths can augment users of Jetpack Social by helping them quickly develop content for their social posts.

For this particular idea/feature, Jetpack AI can recommend Tweet content and hashtags based on the user's post title or content.

We have a PR proof of concept ready, that leverages the existing wordpress.com AI endpoint here:
- p1HpG7-kXY-p2#comment-61319

**Topics for discussion:**
1. Does this give us a competitive advantage over other social sharing products?
2. Can we offset API costs by offering this feature to paid customers?

**What problem does this idea solve?:**
Users spend lots of effort writing their posts, but they might be short on time or lack the creative copywriting skills to create meaningful tweets/posts that promote their content.

Jetpack AI can do this job for them and save them hundreds of hours by parsing a post's title and contents and providing tweet recommendations and hashtags auto-filled for them.

In the future, we could expand this feature towards scheduling, where Jetpack AI / Jetpack Social with AI can auto-create and schedule tweets/re-tweets for users.

**What value does solving this problem generate?:**
By introducing this feature into the Social Advanced plan, we would not only have a more competitive offering but also be able to help our users be more creative and productive and, as a result, depend more on Jetpack Social.
