Description

#### Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Go to WP Admin -> Sharing and make sure "WordPress.com Likes are" are set to "On for all posts".
2. Make sure "Show buttons on" for "Posts" is checked as well.
3. Check a post on the front-end and you will see likes.
4. Change the setting to "Turned on per post" and check front-end.
5. No likes are shown even though post has likes turned on.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue through WP Admin → Sharing by switching between “On for all posts” and “Turned on per post,” then inspect the Jetpack likes setting and front-end display path. Done means likes remain visible for a post with likes enabled after switching to per-post mode, while the existing post and sharing settings continue to work.
