Description

#### Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Start in the block editor
2. Add a slideshow block, select images and enable autoplay
3. Click on the "Pause" button.
4. Note that the button is not responsible.
5. Publish a post, and reload the editor page. "Pause" button works fine now.

#### What I expected
Clicking on the "Pause" button should stop the autoplay, and the icon should be replaced with "Play" button

#### What happened instead
"Pause" button does nothing.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue from the block editor by adding a slideshow block, selecting images, enabling autoplay, and clicking Pause before publishing. Trace the slideshow block's editor behavior; done means Pause stops autoplay and changes to Play, while the published and reloaded editor behavior remains working.
