Harper editor window hangs after one or two pasted text snippets

When using the Harper desktop editor it works for the first time, on occasion two, but then it stays with the green "All Clear" Nothing I do seems to relieve this, neither toggle, nor full quite even a fresh install with brew-- this is MacOS

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to '.Open Editor from mac top tab Harper icon..'
2. Click on 'Mac top tab iHarper icon...'
3. Scroll down to '.Paste into Editor window...'
4. See error - no error, just hangs

No error - hangs with the green "All Clear"

Run the grammar spell and show results

Start by reproducing the hang in the Harper desktop editor on MacOS Tahoe: open it from the Harper menu-bar icon and paste one or two text snippets. Check whether grammar and spelling results stop appearing while the green “All Clear” state remains. Done means repeated pastes continue to run the grammar and spell check and show results.
