Description

**Describe the bug**
The "enable new apps automatically" checkbox in the Harper Desktop app for Mac is unresponsive.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Open Harper Desktop settings.
2. Navigate to the "Integrations" section.
3. Click on the checkbox labeled "Enable new apps automatically."

**Expected behavior**
The checkbox should show a UI change indicating the setting has been enabled. However, it remains unchecked. I cannot test whether the auto-enabling functionality works despite the unresponsive UI, as I'm currently encountering other technical issues that prevent Harper from working in most apps.

**Platform**
M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS Tahoe 26.5.
Harper version 2.2.1 (although the Desktop app lists the installed version as 2.2.0 due to what I've been informed is a solved issue)

**Additional context**

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in Harper Desktop on macOS: open Settings, go to Integrations, and click “Enable new apps automatically.” Trace the checkbox’s UI state and setting behavior; done means the checkbox visibly changes state and the automatic-enabling setting can be verified.
