Please add support for Archive Of Our Own

In the post editor for archiveofourown.org, a website for posting fanfiction, Harper takes up to a minute to load, and sometimes fails to load entirely. On Firefox, implementing a correction causes all line breaks to be deleted. In Chrome, implementing a correction doesn't work at all.

I write with Freewrite, a distraction free writing app that lacks a lot of editing features by design. Being able to copy my drafts over and edit them directly in the post box would be incredibly convenient.

Start by reproducing the problem in the Archive of Our Own post editor on Firefox and Chrome, focusing on loading, line breaks, and applying corrections. Then locate Harper’s existing post-editor integration entry point and compare its behavior in both browsers. Done means AO3 loads reliably, preserves line breaks, and applies corrections in the post box.
