Description
**Describe the bug**
I am developing a site where users can apply for jobs in different languages using WPML. I want to ensure that if a user applies for a job in one language, they cannot apply for the same job in another language. Additionally, all applications should be visible in the job dashboard across all language versions.
Symptoms:
Users are able to apply for the same job in different languages, and applications are shown separately in the job dashboard for each language version.
it is shown in a WPML sandbox with minimal settingm ticket hereto
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/a-user-applicates-for-a-job-in-en-and-can-also-applicate-at-the-job-translations/
We need plugins:
jobmanager
resume manager
application
WPML (set jobs = translated, applications = not translated)
add a job, translate it to all languages, job is availabe in the frontend in all languages
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to 'a job in EN'
2. Click on 'applicate'
3. Go to 'the same job in DE'
4. See error: User can applicate for the same job again in the other language
**Screenshots**
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

**Expected behavior**
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
if a user applicate at a job in one language, the applicate button must be not shown on the same job in other languages and the message "already applied" must be shown on all language versions of the job, so that the user cannot apply for the same job a second time

Research direction
Begin with the reproduction steps using WP Job Manager, Resume Manager, Applications, and WPML, then review the linked WPML sandbox discussion. Trace how applications are associated with translated jobs and displayed in the job dashboard. Done means applying in one language prevents applying to its translations and shows the already-applied state across all language versions.
