Can an instant alert be added to the Alerts extension?

I am using the WP-Job-Manager plugin and have the "Alerts" extension so candidates can create job alerts for jobs matching their criteria.

Currently, candidates can only select from Daily, Weekly or fortnightly intervals for their alerts but for my website having an Instant alert would be more suitable.

Would it be possible to create an "Instantly" option so candidates will receive a job alert instantly as soon as a job matching their criteria is posted?
