EPSG code always clears after input

Description
On export, I have found behaviour using the latest IFC 2021 https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=7265544480016320144 where after typing an EPSG code such as 7856, if the focus is lost (e.g. via tab key) from the EPSG input field in the export dialog, the input field is cleared and therefore the export doesn't let me specify an EPSG code.
How can I further debug this?

Reproduce the issue in the IFC 2021 export dialog by entering EPSG code 7856 and moving focus with Tab. Trace the EPSG input's behavior when focus is lost; done means the value remains populated and the export accepts the specified EPSG code.
