Description
Revit Version: 20.1.1.1 20190731_1515(x64)
Hi, currently my version of Revit does not show a tapered section created by using an IfcRevolvedAreaSolid with a trapezium-shaped area. As far as I (and [others](https://forums.buildingsmart.org/t/display-problem-with-sectioned-spines/2580) ) have checked, the code seems to be correct.
As you can see below, blender for example shows the marked taperd sections.

When opening the file in Revit the mentiond sections are missing.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the missing tapered section in Revit 20.1.1.1 using an IFC file containing an IfcRevolvedAreaSolid with a trapezium-shaped area, and compare it with the Blender result described in the report. Done means the tapered sections are visible in Revit, with the IFC geometry handled consistently with the valid result shown in Blender.
