Description

Hi,

I have an issue where Maya objects that have visibility keyed don't get exported when using the renderableOnly and aren't visible on the first frame of an export.

Here is a video that explains the issue in full - [https://www.dropbox.com/s/vqr616f019gdaq5/mayaUsdBakingVisibility.mp4?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/vqr616f019gdaq5/mayaUsdBakingVisibility.mp4?dl=0)

The files used in the example, including the export script - [https://www.dropbox.com/s/xgoopvmqsldx54o/mayaUsdBakingVisibility_files.zip?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/xgoopvmqsldx54o/mayaUsdBakingVisibility_files.zip?dl=0)

Just expanding on the video, not exporting the none deforming geometry that's used as an override saves disc space per shot, saves network IO, and the Usd stage evaluates faster. It also allows the asset department to update an asset's geometry or UVs, as they don't get blocked by the geometry being redefined in the animation cache. This saves a massive amount of time, especially when an asset is used in multiple shots.

Again this would be great to get someone to look into.

Thanks,
David.
