Hi,
We ( Santa Monica Studio ) are investigating a performance degradation in the MayaUsd VP2 render delegate in some of our scenes, and my recent tests using MayaHydra showed even more significant slowdowns.
I do understand MayaHydra is very much work in progress but I thought mentioning it here for visibility.
