Description

**Describe the bug**
The 3d geometries coming from the Animal Logic ALab scene are rendered differently with husk and kick.
Husk will subdivide them whereas kick won't. At this point it is not clear what is the expected behaviour.

Because of this subdivision the memory used by husk is higher than kick.

This is reproducible with Arnold 7.3.2.0 using the following scene which contains one of the ALab object

Research direction

Start by reproducing the difference with the attached subdiv_test.usda scene using Arnold 7.3.2. Compare the subdivision behavior and memory use between kick and husk, then establish the expected behavior before identifying what would make both renderers consistent.
