Description
Go to settings. Check for updates (manually)
If there's an update available, a notification with a message pops up. There is no button in the actual settings window. This is not the best user experience. Notifications should normally - only - be used when there is no window available. There **should** be a [Download/Install/Update] button in the settings, or a message box.
@Spiritreader What's the best word to use? (string should match action) And do you think a button in the settings page is better, or a message box? A message box depends on the setting for silent install?

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Settings flow for manually checking updates and the notification shown when an update is available. Determine the intended action wording and whether the update action belongs in the settings window or a message box, including the silent-install setting; done means the chosen update action is available from the settings experience.
