We have been using the Authenticator extension for several months, with approximately 150 daily users.
Over the past few weeks, we have observed significant delays when opening the extension from the Google Chrome toolbar.
It can take between 10 seconds and 1 minute for the authentication codes to be displayed.

This issue occurs randomly, both in the morning and in the afternoon, with no specific pattern identified so far.
