Description

Presence detection should be done in the most absurdly complex way (detect through deformation in wifi signal, as an example https://hackaday.com/2018/07/02/using-an-ai-and-wifi-to-see-through-walls/)

If people can't be recognized, start with mundane introductions.
But if people can be recognized, use any input we have (twitter feed, website RSS) to engage conversation. Then let an Eliza bot take care of the rest

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by narrowing the presence-detection approach and conversation requirements, then review the linked Hackaday example and the proposed Twitter feed, website RSS, and Eliza bot inputs. Done would require an agreed, testable scope for detecting nearby people and starting an appropriate conversation.
