Extension improvements

There are various improvements we want to make to the extension.

- [ ] Figure out auth workflow #2
- [x] Added in queuing and batching #5
- [ ] Set extension access security for non-Chrome logins. #15

Read the referenced issues #3, #2, #5, and #15 first, noting that queuing and batching is already checked off. Clarify the remaining configuration, authentication workflow, and non-Chrome access-security requirements; the work is done only when the applicable unchecked items have explicit acceptance criteria and are implemented.
