Program crashes when Joystick widget is called w/ joystick attached

Using an XBox 360 controller and this driver (https://github.com/360Controller/360Controller/releases), APM Planner crashes when Joystick is selected.

Reproduce the crash by selecting the Joystick widget with an XBox 360 controller and the linked 360Controller driver. Start by reviewing the crash report at the linked Gist and tracing the Joystick selection path. Done means APM Planner no longer crashes in this setup.
