feature request: include y-axis scaling/position in preset

This is basically the same use-case as #287. I commonly arrange some plots to show something in a log file, then want to look at the same thing in another log file. I can save a preset, open a new tab for the new file, and restore the preset, but I lose the vertical arrangement of plots.

Start by reading the related request in issue #287, then trace how presets are saved and restored across tabs or log files. The work is done when restoring a preset preserves the plots' y-axis scaling and vertical positions for another log file.
