Description
When attaching a second GPS to the Pixhawk, then unplugging the primary GPS, Mission Planner reports NO GPS and all GPS data is blank. However the 2nd GPS continues to update the position of the aircraft on the map. I can confirm this by placing my hand over the 2nd GPS antenna and watching the position change drastically, then improve again when I remove my hand.
Ideally MP would continue to report GPS data, but in the event of a failure it would report "No GPS1" or "No GPS2" or "ALL GPS FAIL".

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue. Reproduce the two-GPS scenario in Mission Planner with the primary GPS unplugged, then trace where GPS availability and status are reported. Done means the secondary GPS data remains visible and failures identify GPS1, GPS2, or all GPS units.
