Description
Mission planner (all version).
Hi Mike, is it possible to fix this? It has been a PITY when assisting a remote client and we send them a firmware to flash. Then they cannot do it unless they have active internet when the mission planner is running. There are so many times that there is no internet or just enough to send them some instruction on before hand. And the have to do the flash at a later time and in remote area (sea, jungle, etc.). It stands to reason that custom (firmware on the computer) should not need internet to be able to flash

Research direction
The issue identifies Mission Planner and the custom-firmware flashing action, but no source file or test. Start by reproducing the grayed-out action with a firmware file already on the computer and no active internet connection; done means that local firmware can be selected and flashed offline.
