Feature suggestion: dfu tool

F4 / F7 board types that are shipped with non-ardupilot bootloaders have become increasingly popular. the first-time installation process for ardupilot firmware on these boards however requires manually installing the required driver, manually downloading the appropriate ardupilot firmware file and manually flashing that file to the board using non-ardupilot applications.
adding dfu-type flash support for these boards to MP imho would remove a lot of ciruity and noticeably round off the first-time user experience.

Start by reviewing Mission Planner’s existing firmware-installation flow and the DFU requirements for F4/F7 boards. Confirm which board types and bootloaders are in scope; done means first-time users can install the appropriate ArduPilot firmware through Mission Planner without manually installing drivers, downloading firmware, or using another flashing application.
