Description

#### Issue details
Opening files like DataFlash or Telemetry Logs with MissionPlanner running on mono results in dummy remnant windows that cannot be closed or ended until full desktop reset. See taskbar screenshot:

Even after closing MissionPlanner those dummy windows are kept in the taskbar, not only annoying but causing gnome desktop to be very slow.

I'd to logout and login again everywhile to solve this.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on a Linux desktop with Mono 5.20: open a DataFlash or Telemetry Log in Mission Planner, then close the application. Trace the code path for those file-opening pop-up windows and verify that closing Mission Planner removes all taskbar remnants without requiring a desktop reset.
