No data points in Mission Planner

When i try to do the live calibration in Mission Planner it never shows me the "White Dots" or data points that i am supposed to be collecting. I am using a ublox external compass and gps with an apm 2.6. In APM Planner 2 it always says "not enough data points to calibrate compess" Can someone help me out here?

Start by reproducing live compass calibration in Mission Planner with the reported u-blox external compass, GPS, and APM 2.6 setup, comparing it with APM Planner 2. Trace the calibration view and data-point display; done means the expected white dots appear and calibration no longer reports that there are not enough data points.
