Error on the conversion from bin to log

Latest beta from MP and trying to pull some bin files from Copter RC12. Apparently an error occurs and ends up not importing the file. Both APM Planner and MavProxy can import the exact same files.

Start by reproducing the conversion failure in the latest beta with the linked 10.bin log from Copter RC12. Compare Mission Planner's import behavior with APM Planner and MAVProxy, then identify the relevant conversion entry point. Done means the bin file imports successfully without the reported error.
