Connect Taranis x9d controller to ardupilot simulator

When I connect the Taranis remote to ArduPilot, command line outputs that it's recognized and joystick modules are loaded. But when I try to fly it using the remote, nothings happens. Copter icon in the simulator doesn't respond to the remote signal.
