goto option in MAVProxy map not giving any result

I am new to SITL and was working on MAVProxy triying to connect it with QGC on a windows system. When I tried to change the location on the map using the goto option it flashes the specified location and comes back to the original defult location. Please help

Reproduce the goto behavior on Windows with SITL, MAVProxy, and QGC, using the map location described in the issue. Trace the map goto handling and confirm that the selected location remains displayed instead of returning to the default location.
