electron-builder creates AppImage that doesn't run on Ubuntu 16.04

At the moment `electron-builder` builds `AppImages` that do not run on Ubuntu 16.04. From what I see it uses hosted binaries from here to do so: https://github.com/electron-userland/electron-builder-binaries/tree/master/AppImage. Not sure how they correspond to the releases of the actual AppImage though.

I'm not sure who or how should fix this, but it seems quite a big one (affects basically every other AppImage built from electron). I'm eager to assist (just got no idea how). I opened a ticket on `electron-builder` repo: https://github.com/electron-userland/electron-builder/issues/3906.
