Description

AppImage has the "one app = one file" philosophy to make it easy to share Linux applications from one device to another. Yet we don't have a very easy way yet to share those apps across machines on a) the local network (LAN) and b) the open Internet.

Delivering software in off-grid and peer to peer situations

Unlike more centralized software distribution methods, we want AppImages to be distributed locally (e.g., sneakernet: copying an app to USB and transferring it to another computer that way).
