Descripción
(1) I'm unhappy that Parallels (v17) keeps draining power even when the lid is closed ( and pulls a lot of power), one has to manually suspend a windows 10 VM under parallels, using command Q and then all VMs are suspended
In the past ( and that mean back in 2018 or so) I think VMs were suspended when the lid was closed automatically even when I had the tiny app Caffeine installed and active
(2) I have also noticed that when the power supply is not attached windows carries on until the battery is all but empty ( less than 1%) when I leave the Mac book pro (2018 winter version with intel chip) unattended and then it simply hibernates
to address (1) I would like an option in Al Dente whereby one can optionally get AlDente to suspend all VMs when the lid is closed ( ideally perhaps after 1 minute or two)
to address (2) Another option would allow suspension of VMs when a certain level of power is reached and key havn't been depressed for some time.
I have tried standard OS methods ( and googled a lot but Al Dente with parallels is not ), I even think maybe Al Dente is perhaps interfering with the default MAC OS behaviour (Monteray 10.5) with parallels given how it "takes over" the battery. Maybe even by mistake. Note I also have "KeepingYouAwake" installed but currently I don't enable it since it might interfere with AlDente I feel
Or is there some special combination of settings in AlDente that would address both of these issues
