Key Repeat setting in General Preferences does not save

### Current Behavior

I'm currently using version 3.3.2 (installed) and 3.5.1 (portable).
When I go to Options → Preferences → General → Key Repeat and enable the checkbox,
then press OK, the setting appears to be saved.
However, when I reopen the Preferences window, the Key Repeat option is unchecked again.
I expect this feature to behave like XPadder, where holding a controller button continuously sends the mapped keyboard key.

As far as I understand, this behavior is controlled by the Key Repeat option.
But since the setting doesn't persist, the feature doesn't work as intended.
