Description
I have been working on an extension of publiccode.yml to ease OSS procurement. As part of this, I noticed that there isn't a structured metadata format for AI policies, but as I explored adding this, I realized this should be its own metadata file standard.
So I am searching for a new home for this, especially more eyes on this to mature this proposal further. Now this is clearly beyond the scope of this standard, but what are your thoughts on making it an adjacent standard, or maybe you have thoughts on where it could live?

Research direction
Start by reading the linked Codeberg pull request 3 and the publiccode.yml extension described in the issue. Determine whether the AI policy metadata proposal belongs in this project or an adjacent standard; done means a clear, agreed-upon home and a sufficiently matured proposal.
