VectorDB Integration

I absolutely like the way how byaldi handles the usage of colpali to make it super simple to implement. However are there any plans to add vector db support? I have tested colpali with byaldi for a while now but I would like to switch to a proper vector db for embedding storage now... do I need to use the colpali engine for that or is there any way to realise that with byaldi? I am relatively new to the topic.
