Description

I turned off my monitor to take a short nap, while the computer remained in sleep mode for more than an hour. After waking the computer, turning the monitor back on, and logging in, I noticed that the Start menu layout was completely messed up. The text labels underneath the applications were misaligned, and the application buttons extended beyond the boundaries of the Start menu.

Additionally, some of the small icons in the bottom right corner for Terminal, System Settings, and File Explorer appeared to have changed. Instead of using the usual monochrome icon design, they were suddenly displayed with different colorful icons.

When I clicked on Alle Anwendungen ("All Apps") , the Start menu collapsed / disappeared, leaving only the search field visible at the bottom of the taskbar.

Fortunately, everything returned to normal after restarting the computer.
