Description
With version 1.3, the keys for volume up, brightness, volume, etc. worked perfectly. But I installed version 1.4 and it doesn't recognize these commands. I tried from the shortcuts settings, but when pressing them, it doesn't recognize them. It recognizes the F keys but not the multimedia keys.
I'm using a Lenovo Laptop with Virtual Box

Research direction
Start by reproducing the multimedia-key behavior on the reported Lenovo laptop with VirtualBox, comparing version 1.3 with 1.4 and checking shortcut handling. Done means volume and brightness keys are recognized and usable in the shortcuts settings as they were in version 1.3.
