For spesielt verdifulle gjenstander er det mulig å inngå egne verdiforsikringer. Det kan være relevant å vise informasjon om denne typen forsikringer i digitalt dødsbo, da det gir en indikasjon til arvingene om at boet har gjenstander med høy verdi.
