Test and evaluate kro operator

### Description

[kro.run](https://kro.run) is an operator that simplifies the creation of k8s resources.
We should test and evaluate if we should use it instead of writing kubebuilder based operator that only manages other k8s resources.
The project is still in its early stages and is not deemed ready for production. One question is if alpha version from the community behind kro is better than writing an operator from scratch ourselves.
Either way some experience with the project would not hurt and we should familiarize us with it
