Reduce non-main thread/queue usage

By making everything in the app run on main and seeing where it blocks or is too slow.

Thinking about this first or fiddle with it since it might take some time and make the app really slow.

But would be a good exercise to simplify threading which is sometimes causing bugs which is harder to track down
