Description

The neuron VecStim definition, from vecevent.mod, is required to run a network with artificial cells created by bmtk - it would be great if it could be compiled and added to the path automatically, either on installation, or maybe when running build_env_bionet or something similar (ie. compile not only modfiles in the local network directory but also some core modfiles in a central directory).

Research direction

Start with vecevent.mod and the build_env_bionet flow, then compare how modfiles in a local network directory are compiled. Determine where installation or environment setup handles compiled modfiles. Done means vecevent.mod is compiled automatically and placed on the path so Bionet artificial-cell networks can run without manual compilation.
