investigate short photodiode intervals in ecephys sessions

Description
Occasionally, we see intervals between successive photodiode edges in ecephys sessions that are shorter than 60 frames (usually by an integer multiple of frame durations). We don't know why this occurs. What we need to know is:
- why are there short intervals?
- what is happening to the rest of the stimulus during and after such an interval.
Some steps might be:
- use stimuli with known, predictable responses (such as flashes) to determine if these short intervals indicate an offset in following frame times.
- using an additional record of monitor behavior (another photodiode, maybe), record a 2-frame periodic stimulus while attempting to reproduce this issue. Use this signal to determine what a short interval means for the rest of the frames.
